Kyle Richards with Khloe, Roxy, and Tiger
Kyle Richards is my second favorite of Bravo TV’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” due to her no-nonsense attitude and moderately down to earth sensibility. Her lustrous dark hair and non-sun spotted face makes her appear more likely to be related to Demi Moore than to her RHOBH sister, Kim Richards (see their lack of sisterly resemblance in this photo).
Kyle shares her home with three dogs seen occasionally as part of her day to day life. Perhaps the photogenic pooches would be more prominently featured if Kyle’s screen time showcased her bonding with canine family members instead of feuding with Kim or Camille Grammer.
Khloe, the smallest of Kyle’s dogs, has a long, tan to brown hair coat and appears to be a Yorkshire (“Yorkie”) or Silky Terrier, or a terrier mix. Khloe makes her presence well known by reportedly exhibiting behavior akin to jealousy when Lisa Vanderpump visits the Richards’ home carrying Giggy (Gigolo, the Pomeranian) under her arm. Who do you think would win the battle of canine cuteness? Khloe or Giggy?
Kyle also shares her home with Roxy, a larger and lighter brown pooch. Roxy’s size, facial shape, and coat color make me think she’s a representative of the Wheaten Terrier breed or is a terrier mix.
Kyle’s third canine companion, Tiger, contrasts sharply to the Khloe and Roxy with his short, white, curly pelt. I suspect Tiger is a Poodle, Bichon Frise, or other similarly appearing breed. His body size makes him look like the middle child to tiny Khloe and big sis Roxy. Tiger exhibits a grey-blue cloudiness to his eyes clinically consistent with cataracts and/or nuclear sclerosis (a common, age related, non-pathologic). Given these ocular changes, I suspect Tiger is the oldest of Kyle’s dogs and clearly not the middle child.
I hope Khloe, Roxy, and Tiger all continue to have a great quality of life for many years to come, either in or out of the spotlight!
